How to Clean Air

7/20/2014

as similar as they may seem
none is alike
each serves uniquely
and is to be graciously recognized
for it is love and gratitude that keeps the sky un-cursed
with clean and hope-filled air

divine molecules that glisten off the water's surface
somehow they find us
plunging inward
deep into our tried eyes and skin
they reenergize the blood, bones, guts, the senses
temporal attire of the eternal spirit

breathe wholly and dearly
recognize each and every, singularly
as ripened fruit, fallen from heaven's tree
sweet and distinct
precious as her, him, you and i
oceans of gifts from god

When a bloom discovers the sun, it becomes nourished and embodies magnificent color, unique shape and sweet perfume. In just this way, humans also resemble flowers and are most beautiful and bold when in the light of nature.
