Surrealography - mixed media including photography, oil painting, pencil, and/or ink drawing.
Artwork utilizes digital hand-painting without use of stock effects.
Final art piece medium: print.
I coined the term 'Surrealography' after printing my first series of creations in Hollywood. The people at the high-end photo lab had never seen anything like it and craved to know the name of the process that I used. Actually, the technique is very similar to painting with traditional oils. How it essentially differs is in the source of color and the final exhibition format, that being a print. The result is a silky smooth and colorfully captivating image.
Ultimately, my desire is to instill a sense of magic and marvel for the randomness that exists not just in the realm of imagination but as well in our daily lives.
May vibrant color and child-like fantasy uplift us all as we 'search the sky'. Baronsky
